Die legendariese akteur Simon Bruinders, wat sy loopbaan 55 jaar gelede op die amateurverhoog in George begin het, tree die komende naweek vir die laaste keer in sy tuisdorp op. Hy bring sy afskeidsdrama, Die Sideboard en die Vuur, Vrydag 3 Oktober na Hoërskool George se skoolsaal.

Vanessa Swartz is die mede-akteur in die vertoning, wat om 19:00 plaasvind. Kaartjies kos R60 (leerders bo 12) en R80 (volwassenes) en is beskikbaar by die skool en Eden FM. Die vertoning word in samewerking met Hoërskool George se alumni aangebied.

Vir 'n ekstra R50 kan gaste 'n Oscar-ervaring ná die vertoning beleef, vir diegene wat wil kuier en mooi foto's saam met die akteurs vir hul sosiale media-blaaie wil neem.
