Following the last fixtures of the Safa Eden Hollywoodbets Regional League, the Lawaaikamp boys failed to reach the Western Cape third division play-offs, falling short on points in the 2024/25 campaign.

The Black Cats must wait another season to fulfil their short-term goal of playing in the Western Cape ABC Motsepe Provincial League.

The Cats started the 2024/25 season at a very slow pace, dropping crucial points along the way. On a freezing Saturday afternoon, they defeated Madibaz Football 3-1 in a thrilling last fixture at the Lawaaikamp Stadium in George.
