A woman has died following a road collision on a busy shopping street in Melksham.

A second female pedestrian involved in the collision remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries. Cheryl Decarteret, 79, died on Thursday, October 2. The collision happened at around 1.30pm outside the Savers store, on Lowbourne, near the roundabout, on Saturday, September 27, close to the junction with High Street and Bank
