Doorbell cameras catching mischievous young creatures furtively slithering up a tree is rarely good news for stately home owners.

But the keepers at Longleat were delighted that the cameras they had placed snapped images of red squirrel kits.
The litter is the first born at the Wiltshire estate in three years.
