VRL operator held for ₹13.41 Cr GST evasion

In a significant enforcement action, the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI), Jaipur Zonal Unit, has arrested Gopal Rawat, the operator of VRL Corporation, in connection with a 13.41 crore GST evasion case.

The arrest was made following an extensive investigation into suspected tax fraud involving under-invoicing and sale of goods without proper billing.
