In a significant and unusual development concerning two Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers, fresh actions have sparked widespread discussion within bureaucratic and administrative circles.
These cases not only highlight procedural lapses but also reveal rare inter-departmental dynamics.
The first case involves Hanumana Ram, a young RAS officer from the 2021 batch who was posted as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Fatehgarh, Jaisalmer. On April 10, 2025, he was arrested by the Special Operations Group (SOG) on charges of impersonation during the 2021 Sub-Inspector recruitment examination. Allegedly, he took the exam under the false identity of 'Narpataram' as a dummy candidate.
