ANAM NAZ'S MISSION TO UPLIFT FORGOTTEN GIRLS

A compassionate changemaker who transformed personal loss into a mission to uplift underprivileged girls through education and empathy. Anam Naz was just 14 when she made a quiet promise to herself—a promise born from love, loss and the lasting legacy of her late mother.

Today, that promise lives on through every schoolbook distributed, every meal served, and every girl who dares to dream because of the Noor India Foundation.

Her story is more than just a tribute. It's a living embodiment of what a mother's spirit can ignite in a daughter, and how that spark can grow to light thousands of lives. She donates fifty percent of her income to the education of the girls.

Anam's mother was a fierce believer in women's dignity, sanitation and empowerment. After her passing, Anam transformed grief into purpose, founding the Noor India Foundation in her name. "Be a Noor in someone's life," she declared—a guiding motto that has since taken root across remote corners of India and even Zambia, Africa.
