An Appeal to Every Motorist on Indian Roads

My journey on two wheels began back in 2001 with a Bajaj Pulsar 150. What started as a love for riding soon grew into a way of life. In 2020, I took things to the next level by getting my first superbike—a Kawasaki Ninja 1000. Since then, I’ve had the thrill of exploring some of India’s most iconic destinations, including Kumbhalgarh, Udaipur, Shimla, Chitkul, Landour, Leh, Pangong Lake, and even Umling La Pass—the highest motorable road in the world. In 2023, I undertook a remarkable Jaipur-to-Nepal ride with my 13-year-old daughter, who shares my love for motorcycling. Our unique father-daughter adventure made local headlines in Jaipur for its spirit of bonding and adventure.

Currently, I ride a BMW GSA 1250 Adventure Tourer and am gearing up for my next big expedition to the remote and rugged Zanskar - Ladakh region from June 20th to 30th, 2025. This time, I will be joined by my family and 10 fellow riders from R.O.A.R (Republic of Alpha Riders) on superbikes — as we embark on this high-altitude adventure together.

Riding a motorcycle in India is more than a passion - it's a way of life. It's a pursuit of freedom, a bond of brotherhood, and for many of us, a journey of self-discovery. Yet, every ride we take comes with an undeniable truth - our lives are always at risk.
