₹7.7 crore benami properties seized by Income Tax Department

The Adjudicating Authority has confirmed the interim seizure of benami properties, paving the way for the IT department to take further action to seize these assets.
Earlier this year, the IT department had seized nine plots under the Benami Transactions (Prohibition) Act of 2016.
