TCS reported a muted quarter, with weak headline numbers and a margin miss. However, strong deal wins for the second consecutive quarter and improved performance in developed markets are the positives. Management was confident in revenue growth recovery, even as unfavorable elements in demand were highlighted in multiple segments—retail, manufacturing, insurance, telecom, healthcare, and professional services. We bake in a slowing demand environment and risks to Rupee depreciation, leading to revenue growth and margin cuts. We maintain BUY rating at a revised fair value of ₹3,800.
