Hero MotoCorp Profit Stays Flat in Q1

TWO-WHEELER MANUFACTURER HERO MotoCorp on Wednesday reported a flat growth in profit to ₹1,126 crore in the first quarter, compared with ₹1,123 crore in the year-ago period.
The profit figure, however, beat Bloomberg’s estimate of ₹1,063 crore.
Revenue declined 6% year-on-year to ₹9,579 crore, also falling short of Bloomberg’s estimate of ₹9,797 crore.
EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹1,382 crore, with margins coming in at 14.4%.
