FAST-MOVING CONSUMER goods (FMCG) companies may see a rebound in revenue growth in FY26, touching 6-8% in the next fiscal from 5-6% seen in FY25, Crisil Rating said in a study released on Wednesday.
FAST-MOVING CONSUMER goods (FMCG) companies may see a rebound in revenue growth in FY26, touching 6-8% in the next fiscal from 5-6% seen in FY25, Crisil Rating said in a study released on Wednesday. The projected revenue increase in FY26 will be led by steady rural demand and a recovery in urban demand, due to fiscal stimulus measures announced in the budget.
Crisil Ratings conducted a study of 82 FMCG companies, accounting for a third of the sector's revenue of ₹5.9 lakh crore, to arrive at its projections for FY26. While rural areas accounts for a third of industry revenue, urban areas accounts for two-third of sector revenue.
