Expect up to 14 mn more APY users in FY26: PFRDA

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) is expecting enrollment of 13-14 million new subscribers in the Atal Pension Yojana (APY) in FY26, the low-cost pension plan for the masses, its chairperson S Ramann said.

In FY25, around 12 million new people were enrolled.

Under APY, a subscriber would receive a lifelong minimum guaranteed pension of ₹1,000 to ₹5,000 per month from the age of 60 years, depending on their contributions.
