Demand for freshers surges in H1'25

THE DEMAND FOR freshers and professionals with 1-5 years of experience is expected to grow in the first half of 2025. The latest report from TeamLease Edtech shows that not just a significantly higher proportion of companies are willing to hire freshers in the January-to-June 2025 period, they are going to ramp up their fresher hiring in the first six months of 2025 as compared to July-to-December 2024 period.

For instance, 74% of companies have reported that they will hire freshers in H1CY25 as compared to 72% in H2CY24. The surge in fresher hiring is fuelled by the demand for professionals trained in AI tools.
