IN ORDER TO grow at 8% annually for at least a decade and to enhance output and productivity of firms, especially micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), deregulation has to be amplified, the Economic Survey stated. The focus of reforms and economic policy must now be on "systematic deregulation", it said.
