Nestle Eyes Stable Growth as Input Costs Ease

NESTLE INDIA IS expected to return to normal growth in the coming quarters as commodity inflation, which had constrained volumes recently, begins to stabilise, outgoing chairman and managing director Suresh Narayanan said on Thursday.

Speaking at his final annual general meeting (AGM) before retirement, Narayanan said that while pressures from certain commodities are easing, prices of key inputs like coffee and cocoa continue to hover at decadal highs, exerting stress on margins and growth strategies.
