40% tax to be disaster: Online gaming firms

ONLINE GAMING COMPANIES say the Centre's proposed move to bring the industry under a special goods and services tax rate of 40% will be catastrophic.
The issue will be examined by three Groups of Ministers (GoMs), whose recommendations will be sent to the GST Council for its consideration in the next meeting.
