India now fourth-largest market for Skoda

INDIA HAS EMERGED as Skoda Auto’s fourth-largest market globally, driven by a sharp rise in sales led by the Kylaq SUV, even as the company looks to push into the top three with a renewed product push this year.

Martin Jahn, member of Skoda’s board of directors for sales and marketing, told FE that India recorded the fastest growth among the carmaker’s major markets in 2025. While Germany remained Skoda’s largest market with 211,000 deliveries, followed by the Czech Republic and the UK, India climbed to fourth position after nearly doubling its volumes.
