Trent profit tops estimates at ₹430 cr

TATA GROUP-OWNED TRENT reported higher-than-expected profit growth in the June quarter with a robust rise in revenue, driven by broad-based sales across fashion and lifestyle.
Trent's consolidated net profit rose 9.5% year-on-year (y-o-y) in Q1FY26 to ₹430 crore, ahead of the estimated ₹388 crore for the period. Revenue increased 19% y-o-y to ₹4,833 crore against a Bloomberg estimate of ₹5,196 crore for the period.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) increased 38.2% y-o-y to ₹848 crore, ahead of Street estimates of ₹794 crore for the period.
