Outdoor cinema returning with 10 films in city centre

CINEMA fans will be able to watch blockbuster films on the big screen in Exeter city centre this summer as an outdoor cinema event returns for its 22nd year.

Big Screen in the City, hosted by Exeter Phoenix, will take place in Bedford Square at the end of the summer.
From Monday to Friday, August 25 to 29, the square will be transformed to offer an outdoor film experience for people to enjoy on a huge LED screen, through a wireless headphone system.
Exeter Phoenix will show 10 films, including Wicked, Hook, The Wizard of Oz, Pretty Woman, Bridget Jones, Matilda the Musical, Flow and Top Gun.
