Duo to take on Himalayas hike for wellbeing charity

TWO men have set out on an ambitious charity fundraiser - hiking for around 200km at altitude in the Himalayas.

John Powell and Andy Green left home on Saturday, October 11, to head to Nepal. From the town of Lukla, they will hike to Everest Base Camp and then carry on to the Island Peak mountain, which stands at 6,189m (20,305ft).
