BUDLEIGH Salterton hammered Bideford by nine wickets after skittling them out for 93 in a one-sided encounter at the Holt in the A Division.

- by CONRAD SUTCLIFFE

Skipper Jack Ford belted 21 off11 balls opening up, which was as good as it got with the bat for Bideford.

Once Jack England (3-13) got stuck into Bideford’s top order it was downhill all the way to 45 for six. There was a mini-revival between George Bradfield (12) and Alex Hannam (14), who put on 16.

Sid Fereday finished with three Bideford wickets for 49 runs conceded once the tidying-up was completed.

Budleigh had the runs knocked-off before the 16th over was completed. Opener Luke Domaschenz was the only casualty.
