MARGOT ROBBIE has broken her silence on her Oscars snub, claiming she's "not sad" at missing out but insisting Barbie director Greta Gerwig deserved to be nominated.
Barbie, the highest-grossing movie of 2023, received eight Oscar nominations, including for best picture, best supporting actress for America Ferrera and best supporting actor for Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken.
But Robbie missed out on a best actress nomination, while Gerwig was overlooked in the best director category. However the Australian star, 33, who is also one of the movie's producers, said just being involved in the film was reward enough.
