Demands: Spurs boss Antonio Conte wants new faces but not a bigger squad
TOTTENHAM are facing another balancing act over transfers in January, after Antonio Conte admitted that his side cannot be competitive in both the Premier League and Champions League without reinforcements.
Spurs are ready to back Conte to bring in more quality, but the head coach has told the club he is happy with the size of his squad.
Bryan Gil and Japhet Tanganga were not allowed to go out on loan in the summer because Spurs could not find adequate replacements and, conversely, the club will have to offload the duo before signing players in the new year.
