'Freaked out Paltrow used 76-year-old like cushion to break fall'

GWYNETH PALTROW was set to testify in her ski collision trial today as the Hollywood star faced claims she crashed into a man and fell on to him like a “cushion”.
The actress, 50, is expected to be quizzed in front of a jury over the 2016 collision with retired optometrist Terry Sanderson on the slopes of the Deer Valley resort in Utah. She and Mr Sanderson, 76, blame each other for the crash which left him faced down in the snow and briefly unconscious.
Paltrow’s children Apple and Moses are lined up as witnesses in the trial, while Mr Sanderson is also expected to give his account of the incident.
