Fight over places can ignite the Lionesses, says Hemp

LAUREN HEMP is relishing the competition with Lauren James for her place in the England team.
James is pushing to come into the side for Friday's game against Denmark after the Lionesses laboured to a 1-0 win over Haiti in their World Cup opener.
The Chelsea winger could replace No10 Ella Toone, although Hemp or Chloe Kelly, who were on the wings on Saturday, may lose their place instead.
Hemp has been a regular under head coach Sarina Wiegman, starting every game as England won Euro 2022 last summer, and believes pressure from James will make her better.
"There's fantastic competition, especially in the forward areas," said Hemp.
"As a team we've got such massive depth as a squad. Anyone can come in and change a game, so it's important that, as players, we are all pushing each other to be at the best of our ability.
"Obviously anything can happen so we will just see how it goes. But I think we all want each other to do well, so it's all about pushing each other."
