'Bloodied' man held after woman, 19, is stabbed to death

A 19-YEAR-OLD woman who had recently arrived in the UK from India has been found stabbed to death at a house in south London
Witnesses today described how armed police backed up by a force helicopter swooped on Ash Tree Close in Croydon at 4.10pm yesterday.
A 23-year-old man — said to be a relative of the teenager — has been arrested on suspicion of her murder. He was taken to hospital for treatment to a minor head injury, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said.
