Billy Vunipola Tasered and seized by eight police after 'violent row' in bar

ENGLAND rugby star Billy Vunipola was Tasered as he was arrested over a “violent incident” at a bar in Majorca.
The 6ft 2in tall international, who weighs nearly 20 stone, was overpowered by eight police who rushed to a bar called Epic in the island capital Palma when called by security staff, according to local reports.
Vunipola, 31, had taken off his shirt and was threatening customers and employees with bottles and chairs, it was claimed. The first Taser failed to discharge so officers fired a second time, before subduing him.
Vunipola was first taken to nearby Son Espases hospital for treatment after being detained in the early hours yesterday. He later appeared in court, wearing the same blue T-shirt and beige shorts he was arrested in.
