1,000 vent their fury at Israel in London protest

POLICE today warned that further arrests may follow after a protest was staged in west London, days after Hamas fighters launched their deadly attack on Israel.
More than 1,000 pro-Palestine demonstrators gathered in Kensington High Street last night, yards from Israel’s embassy, where they chanted anti- Israel slogans and set off fireworks.
Protesters were seen climbing up lamp posts and and on top of a bus stop, chanting “Allahu akbar” and “Israel is a terrorist state”.
Police were forced to separate pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian groups at High Street Kensington Underground station. Three arrests were made, including a 15-yearold boy on suspicion of assault on an emergency worker, racially motivated criminal damage and possessing an offensive weapon.
