The world's first Square Wurst — a Bavarian twist on a Scottish classic — is being launched in Edinburgh next week.

A German take on a roll and square sausage, the Square Wurst, will be unveiled by Tennent's Lager at the Auld Hag in Stockbridge on November 7. Featuring a traditional bratwurst sausage made with Scottish ingredients, the rare culinary treat has been created to accompany a new Bavarian-style Pilsner being released by Tennent's to mark its 140th anniversary.
