Edinburgh snatch draw but Everitt frustrated

While the two points secured on the road will be welcomed, the Capital side's head coach Sean Everitt couldn't hide his disappointment at not securing a vital victory in the race for the BKT United Rugby Championship play-offs.

Speaking after the tense encounter at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi, Everitt stated plainly: "I'm disappointed that we didn't get the win. There were some really good moments in the game that I'm proud of, but we needed to get four or five points tonight.

"We didn't do that, so I'm disappointed."

However, amidst the frustration, Everitt was quick to acknowledge the resilience and fighting spirit of his players who never gave up until the final whistle.
