PLANS have been submitted for a micro energy storage system to be built near Skegness.
Applicant AMP Clean Energy has put forward plans to East Lindsey District Council for the 200KW energy storage system to be built at the verge of Ingoldmells Road and the A158, Burgh le Marsh.
Under the proposal, four micro energy storage units and a 2.4-metre-high palisade fencing compound would be built at the site.
AMP Clean Energy said proposed development will help to improve energy security, reduce carbon emissions and improve the local electricity network, reducing the need for new substations to be built in the area.
