Local group grateful for new PA system

A £400 National Lottery award has enabled community group, u3a Dumfries, purchase a new PA system.

Chairperson, Margaret Moffat, said it will make a big difference to their members.
She said: "We have some fascinating speakers at our monthly meetings but, for those sitting near the back, hearing them clearly hasn't always been easy. We're delighted that all that is about to change!"
U3a Dumfries has been running for over 30 years, making it longest running in Scotland, with a membership of almost 200.
