EUSTACE FRUSTRATED BY DAMAGING DEFEAT AT CARROW ROAD

Rams lacking cutting edge as play-off hopes hang in balance

JOHN Eustace said Derby County paid the price for lacking a clinical edge as they lost 2-1 away against Norwich City to leave their Championship playoff hopes hanging by a thread.

Mohamed Toure, who saw his penalty saved early on, thrashed a shot past keeper Jacob Widell Zetterstrom via the underside of the bar to give the Canaries the lead in the 33rd minute.

David Ozoh scored nine minutes after the break to give Derby hope but Liam Gibbs quickly restored Norwich's lead.
