Oh yes it is...Muslim panto's coming to city

ONE of the stars of hit BBC series Citizen Khan is bringing his “Muslim panto" to Derby.

Snow Brown and Her Seven Chachay (Uncles) will be performed at the Grand River Suite in the city centre tomorrow night as part of a UK tour.
The panto is the brainchild of Abdullah Afzal, known for his role as Amjad, son-in-law to the titular Citizen Khan in the BBC comedy.
Abdullah wrote, starred in, and directed Cinder’aliyah in 2021, Britain's first Muslim pantomime, and has also written, produced and will star in this new production.
