No secret behind date for opening of two stores
Derby Telegraph
|May 14, 2025
TWO new Derbion stores are weeks from opening their doors for the first time as the shopping centre welcomes a host of changes to its layout throughout the year.
-
Shoppers have seen hoardings for two major retailers set to join the roster of shops ahead of the busy summer months, with both stores set to open before the end of June.
It was reported back in March that summery clothing brand Seasalt Cornwall would be opening a store on level two, opposite Zara.
Founded in Penzance in 1981, Seasalt began by selling traditional workwear to local farmers, fishermen and artists. Since then, the brand has grown to include a mix of fashion and textile designers who create items that are inspired by the creative and maritime heritage of Cornwall.
No opening date was confirmed earlier this year, but a spokesperson for Derbion has now said the store is expected to open “in the coming weeks".
