TRAFFIC concerns have been addressed by a leading UK car dealership as it plans to create its first Derby showroom.
Arnold Clark wants a new showroom on the former Pizza Hut site in Foresters Way, next to the old Showcase Cinemas site
Plans have been submitted for the former Pizza Hut store on Foresters Way and its neighbouring 600-plus space car park.
Arnold Clark wants to open its first Derby car showroom and has eyed up the land of the former Pizza Hut store to have almost 400 cars on display.
The site is right next to the former Showcase Cinemas building, which could also be set for big changes under separate proposals.
Plans for the car dealership include the creation of around 28 full-time jobs.
The plans were submitted to Derby City Council in the summer but no decision has yet been made.
