Comedian Joel recalls finding a body in water on first trip to Midlands
Derby Telegraph
|November 24, 2025
A TV boater who has spent the last 18 years living nomadically is set to make his return to Derbyshire this week, bringing his comedy show with him.
-
Joel Sanders, who was a comedian touring the US before swapping that lifestyle for the UK's waterways, now brings his “Angry Boater” show to wherever the tide takes him - with his next stop being Long Eaton on November 26.
“My story is very human, and I have some great tales from my time in the water,” Joel said.
“So many things have happened to me, from running into A-listers to finding a body in the water on my first trip up to the Midlands.”
