Burritos and tacos chain to open in city

FANS of burritos, tacos and churros are in for a treat as plans to open Derby's first-ever Taco Bell have been given the go-ahead by the council.

Plans to open a branch of the American fast food chain in the city were first submitted to Derby City Council in August of this year, which have now been approved.
The store will be located at the former Starbucks unit in College Park on Normanton Road, which is currently still open but intends to vacate the premises “in the near future”, according to a planning application.
