THE grieving wife of Nathan Plato, a tow truck driver and father of five who was gunned down on Monday in Eerste River, says that the family is struggling to come to terms with his passing.
Nathan, 35 and affectionately known as Spice, was shot and killed inside his tow truck on Monday evening around 6pm in Heather Park, Forest Drive, where he was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.
Kleinvlei police registered a murder case for investigation as the unknown suspects fled the scene and are yet to be arrested.
Wife Meagan said that she is not sure why anyone would want to hurt her husband, as he was a caring person and was well-loved in the community.
