Taxi war claims 3 lewens

TAXI violence claimed the lives of three adults and injured six men in two separate incidents in Philippi East and Khayelitsha on Monday morning.

Provincial Detectives Serious and Violent Crimes Taxi unit are probing the shootings.

One took place at the taxi rank in Ngqwangi Drive, Phillippi East, where six people were shot between the ages of 35 and 43, with two dead and four wounded, three of whom are taxi drivers and another a passenger.
