Seawinds family wants justice for young mom after her skielike dood
A SEAWINDS family is calling for justice after a mother of one was shot and killed in her sleep by a stray bullet to the head.
Cherylene Wilson, 23, was struck when a shooting took place outside the family’s wendy house in St Robert Road on 19 September. Her 16-year-old boetie was shot in the leg while both of them were in bed.
Sister Tony Wilson explained that they are unhappy with the South African Police Service (SAPS) as no arrests have been made as yet.
Tony told the Daily Voice: “The shooting took place before midnight. I was still awake, waiting with my mother for her boyfriend to get back home.
