THE FA Community Shield will be held at Millennium Stadium in August after Wembley became unavailable due to a run of concerts by The Weeknd.
The Football Association confirmed the decision, noting that the traditional curtain-raiser will take place on 16 August, a week before the Premier League season kicks off.
This marks the first time since 2006 that the match will be played in Cardiff, a venue that previously hosted it six times between 2001 and 2006 while Wembley was being redeveloped.
