POLICE HIT RIGHT NOTES

YOUNGSTERS from Bellville and Elsies River got the holiday vibe going with music and discipline as part of a special five-day youth program led by the Western Cape Provincial Police Band.

The initiative held from 30 June to 4 July saw the cops team up with Wisemen of the East to help teach local laaities how to play music, work together, and build confidence.

During the week-long programme, the kids were taken through their paces in a music workshop, with Sergeant Wesley Jansen giving them a master-claas on playing in harmony.
