Roo open to join Carrick at Old Trafford

FORMER Red Devils are ready to span saam to save Manchester United, as Wayne Rooney said that he would be open to join Michael Carrick's coaching staff at Old Trafford.

According to reports innie UK, United have reached an agreement in principle to appoint Carrick as interim manager until the end of the season.

The former midfielder was pictured arriving at the club's Carrington training ground yesterday.

Carrick previously had an unbeaten three-game stint as caretaker boss at Old Trafford in 2021.
