IT'S MULDER TIME FOR SA

THE Proteas pressed home their advantage on the third day of the first Test against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo yesterday, with a magnificent, controlled knock of 147 by Wiaan Mulder guiding to them to 369 in their second innings at the Queens Sports Club, and a commanding lead of 536 runs.

Mulder, starting on 25, built crucial partnerships, first with Tony de Zorzi (31), then with David Bedingham (35), and later with Kyle Verreynne, as he anchored the innings.

Zimbabwe's bowlers sukkeled, especially in the absence of their premier pacer Blessing Muzarabani, who was sidelined for most of the day due to illness.
