HAWKS HUNT COLOMBIANS

THE Hawks are on the hunt for alleged members of a Colombian cartel.

The Directorate of Priority Crime Investigation (The Hawks) are appealing to the public to assist in tracing a “person of interest” in the murders of the alleged Cape gang boss Peter Jaggers and his associate William Peterson.

Jaggers, from Kreefgat in Cape Town, had allegedly stolen R1 billion worth of cocaine and rumours spread that he had been killed by the cartels.

Jaggers, an alleged Terrible Josters gang boss, was last seen on 4 July last year at the Emperor’s Hotel in Gauteng and was attending a meeting with Peterson when they were kidnapped.

Their decomposing bodies were found months later in a dam in the Free State and they were tied with chains.
