THE Durbanville Majorettes Club (DMC) was crowned winners at this year’s Federation of Dance, Drill, Cheerleading and Majorettes (FDDCMWC) Western Cape Provincial Championships and are now out to defend their national crown in Klerksdorp from 11-17 July.

However, the road to nationals comes with significant financial demands and due to ongoing financial constraints, the club is appealing for assistance to help raise the necessary funds of R50 000 to attend the championship and represent the Western Cape with pride.

DMC is an independent majorette club based at Aristea Primary School in Kraaifontein and was founded in 2019 with a vision to provide accessible, inclusive opportunities for learners to participate in the sport of majorettes.
