A CORRECTIONAL Services officer and her family were carjacked in Bayview, Strandfontein, as brazen robbers demanded their vehicle and fled the scene with it.

SHOCKING VIDEO: Strandfontein carjacking

According to police, the hijackers caught the woman's husband off-guard at a winkel just before 7am along Seafarer Drive yesterday morning.

CCTV footage of the incident shows the hijackers running down the road and jumping into the vehicle, leaving the family shocked in the street before speeding off with the car.
