Renz: Mandrax tik may have affected my initial statement

LOURENTIA “Renz” Lombaard says she was high when she made her initial statement to police.

The former accused-turned-State-witness in the ongoing trial of missing six-year-old Joshlin Smith came under heavy scrutiny yesterday during cross-examination.

Lombaard was questioned about her drug use before and during the events leading to Joshlin's disappearance. She admitted to being under the influence of drugs before her arrest and acknowledged that this could have impacted her initial statements to the police.
